Ken De Loreto
The King
Mr. De Loreto is honored to have been crowned King in The Castle Hill Theatre Company's production of Rumpelstiltskin. As a transplant to The Berkshires, he has become inspired to pursue his love of performing; balancing theater with his own corporate consulting business.
Over the past three years on the boards, he has appeared at Triarts in Sharon, CT as the Emcee in Chicago, Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun, General Harrison Howell in Kiss Me Kate, and Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret. He has also appeared at The Ghent Playhouse in Ghent, NY as Joey Evans in Pal Joey, and as Dracula in the Stephen Dietz version of the Bram Stoker classic. He thanks the talented cast, Director Nicki Wilson, and his partner for their creativity, humor, and support.

Nancy DuVall
Tree and Guardsman
Ms. DuVall has directed and acted in many area productions over the years wtih the Old Barrington Players, Egremont's Hayloft Players, the Mahaiwe Theatre musicals (Mame, La Cage, Damn Yankees) and at the Ghent playhouse in Night of the Iguana and Rumors.
She has also performed in the Actors Center's evenings of Scenes and Monologues and in the Audubon Society's annual Halloween skits - a most interesting challenge.
Nancy was in on the ground floor of Castle Hill Theatre's first production last year of Puss in Boots, where she memorably played the Woodcutter. She is happy to return to CHTC once again – this time doing double duty – as an actress and as the Stage Manager.

Andrew Joffe
The Miller
Andrew Joffe has appeared locally in The Original Last Wish Baby, Signs of Life, Radio Paramus, and An Evening with David Ives at the Workshop Playhouse; Wasserstein, Sin, and Sylvia with the Aglet Theatre Company; Puss in Boots with The Castle Hill Theatre Company;
He has performed in the original musicals Simon Says and The Big One at Columbia Greene Community College; A Tuna Christmas, Lone Star and Where the Albatross Flies with the Copake Theatre Company; An Afternoon with I.B. Singer at Ansche Emeth; The Time of Your Life at the Ghent Playhouse; in staged readings of Conrad Bromberg’s Dreams of a Blacklisted Actor and Gymboyz, and of Martha Humphries’ To Whom God Speaks at Triarts; and with the variety show Saturday Night Live, as well as performing one-man readings of the works of Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Jean Shepherd.
On radio and audio, he has been heard in the series Visit New Grimston, Anyway and Little Chills on National Public Radio, and has performed extensively and variously as part of Seeing Ear Theatre and Tales from the Crypt at Sci-fi.com, including roles in the animated series, Maat Ka Ra (as the evil leader of an intergalactic invasion), and Mean Planet, as both the announcer and an amorphous carnivorous alien.
Mr. Joffe has also functioned as a director, playwright, radio producer, lecturer, and award-winning opera librettist and poet.

Karen Lee
Rumpelstilstkin
Karen Lee wowed the audience as "Puss" in Castle Hill Theatre Company's inaugural production of Puss in Boots last spring. She then went on to play Madame Brighella in Shakespeare & Company's production last summer of The Servant of Two Masters directed by Dan McCleary. Recently she was a featured performer in a WB Mason commercial.
Ms. Lee has performed throughout the world as a Broadway gypsy - singing, dancing and acting. She has also landed upon many a Berkshire stage, including Jacob's Pillow, where she began her professional career and is now on the faculty there as well as choreographing around the county. She has appeared on television, in film, and has been featured three time for award-winning BBC radio plays by Gregory Whitehead.
Karen earned a double major from Hunter College in Dance and Sociology, has worked in theatres all over New York and all over the country, including the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, George Street Playhouse, Paper Mill Playhouse, Coconut Grove Playhouse, Walt Disney, and many others. Karen has appeared regularly at Mixed Company and was in their acclaimed production of A.R. Gurney's Sylvia where she had the opportunity to play a dog.
She is the owner of Pilates Central in Lenox, a studio dedicated to the gift of movement, which will be expanding to the top floor of the Granary Building above Mixed Company in Great Barrington. She is also mother of two magical angels, Max, 11, and Sam, 9 and will be debuting a cabaret show this summer.

Ashley Mayne
Aurelia
Ashley Mayne, a native of Austin, Texas, moved to New York in 2003 to participate in a theater apprenticeship program with Shakespeare Alive. Since then, she has become an ensemble member of Walking the Dog Theater, as well as, a scholarship student at Bard College.
Acting credits within the past year include major roles in: Burn This, As You Like It, King Lear, The Gold in the Ground and the US premier of The Storm.
She was recently seen in the workshop production of The Owl and The Pussycat, directed by Ted Pugh of The Actor’s Ensemble. Ashley has also played the part of assistant director/acting coach/musician in two Walking the Dog productions - A Midsummer’s Night Dream and The Twelfth Night. She is delighted to be working with Castle Hill Theatre Company.

Karen Miller
Tree and Guardsman
Karen Miller is delighted to be joining the talented cast of Rumpelstilskin. This marks Karen's theatrical debut in the Berkshires.
Previous credits include: An Experiential Approach to Antonin Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty at The New School in New York City, and an outdoor dance performance at Goddard College, Vermont.
Karen is also a gifted writer of short stories, prose poetry, poetry, and one-act plays. She has held readings of her work at the St.
Mark's Church in New York City as well as at The Bookseller's In Stockbridge, MA.

Vashti Poor
The Page
Vashti Poor's credits include Sylvia in Sylvia with the Aglet Theatre Company, Prudence in Beyond Therapy at the Workshop Playhouse, Catherine in Proof at the Main Street Stage, and Echo in Eleemosynary at the Barrington Stage Company.
She attended the Walnut Hill School of the Arts where in addition to academics she studied, acting, directing, dramatic and creative writing, voice, musical theatre, opera, chamber music, music theory, music history, and of course, pottery. During the summers she was a student at the Young Artists Vocal Program at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Vashti then attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she completed the four-year training program at the Circle in the Square Theatre School.
After graduation she worked for several years at MTV Networks and Island Records, while she studied acting with Alan Langdon, Caymichael Patten, and at Black Nexxus. Vashti has also studied voice with Patricia Thom, William Cutter, and recently Monte Stone.
In October she began studying electric guitar with Rob Sanzone. Vashti would like to thank all of her teachers, who have given her the joy of a life in the arts and her loving family for their support and for the privilege of access to an education in the arts.
